Dinner at Dad's Kitchen

Yesterday seemed like the perfect day for a casual dinner date, so we went to Dad's Kitchen, which serves uh-mazing food with an ecclectic option of beers and ciders. I'm not a beer person (I'm trying), but cider is my jam! If you watch Diners, Drive-ins and Dives on the Food Network, you just might have seen them featured. And I don't want to rub it in your face, but you should definitely be jealous that I live down the street from this place.

We both had their Dad's Burger, which is encrusted with bleu cheese and bacon. To answer your question yes it is absolutely delicious. Dad's is a clear favorite in the neighborhood, and it's not hard to see why. I haven't had anything on their menu that wasn't delicious. Their mac n' cheese in particular is probably one of my favorite things. Oh and did I mention their happy hour? Because it's fantastic. Okay, okay, I'm trailing. Pictures!

Sometimes you've just gotta take advantage of the not-blistering-hot weather, sit out on a patio, and enjoy a nice burger and raspberry cider. It's the little things.
