I'm ba-aaaack. Phoenix was great! The weather was glorious (although I don't think I could survive live there in summer) and it was a whole different landscape than what I'm used to. Cactus eeeeevvvvvvrywhere. We got to explore the Cityscape, downtown, and Heritage Park to our hearts content. We had jalapeño biscuits and gravy, sweet potato tortelli, and wine, wine, wine! I think the highlight for me was Ryan's birthday dinner at The Arrogant Butcher. I mean, with a name like that, how could I not eat there, right? Besides the aforementioned tortelli, we also had fresh soft pretzels and fondue, and smoked blue cheese with cherry marmalade spread. And our dessert was a warm peanut butter cup.
Thanks for the heat, Phoenix. My Lauren Conrad skirt was begging to be worn, and you made it all possible.
