Welcome to a new segment of this blog, all about...food! Yes, wonderful, delicious food. Let the record show that I love to eat, so you can expect to see more. And let me just get this out of the way: I am not a health nut. I do not live my life by some gluten free standard. Honestly, I don’t even know what gluten is. Good on all who can maintain any of their dietary restraints, but that’s not me at all. I love meat. And salt. And carbs. And basically everything. So that’s what you’ll get here.
This segment in particular is for me to share my own cooking adventures, with the hopes that some kind of detail will come along with it about how to make it yourself. So let’s get started!
KIELBASA AND BROCOLLI PASTA
Ingredients:
- Kielbasa
- Broccoli (I thought some red chard would be good but I couldn’t find any)
- Rotini
- Olive oil
- Cheese, for topping
note: The cheese I used is called Unexpected Cheddar from Trader Joe’s. It’s delicious. Also, this whole meal provided dinner and lunch the next day for 2 people and cost ~$10.
